Put on YOUR oxygen mask FIRST before assisting others.
If you have flown on a plane, you have heard these words. It’s a simple safety instruction – you cannot help others if you can’t breathe yourself. I often bring this up when working with my clients. If you aren’t taking care of yourself, you will not be able to take care of others.
Therapy is a beautiful and often necessary way to ensure you are taking care of yourself. You most likely have great friends, family, and a supportive partner. However, talking with those closest to you about more sensitive topics can make you feel like a burden. You are not alone in those feelings.
At times, you may feel like you cannot talk to your partner about certain issues because their instinct is to fix them, but often, you just need someone to listen.
It’s time to put on your oxygen mask.
I am here for YOU!
As your therapist, I will listen and create a space where you feel completely at ease to discuss your thoughts and feelings without bias, pressure, and implication.
The space we will create together is one where you will feel validated and supported. I will also compassionately identify the distorted thoughts and barriers affecting your ability to live the life you want.
In our sessions together, we will work on developing an individualized treatment plan that will include elements of
- Building your support system,
- Effective communication skills,
- Strategies for managing symptoms of anxiety and depression.

About Me
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Orange County, California. I received my Bachelor’s degree from UCLA and my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. I am certified as a Perinatal Mental Health Specialist through Postpartum Support International.
As a therapist, I have worked with many different populations throughout my career. However, it wasn’t until I became a mother and experienced postpartum depression and anxiety – and later, general burnout from motherhood – that I found my true calling in working with women and parents. I am fiercely passionate about helping women experiencing postpartum mental health issues or struggling with the stress of parenthood.
Working with couples in the beginning stages of transitioning into parenthood or those who need some guidance on parenting through different ages and stages of the parenting process has been incredibly rewarding. The effects of therapeutic support during this time are undeniable.
Family is important to me.
When I’m not working, I spend time with my children and husband. As a family, we are often busy, and on the go, but in the few moments of downtime I get, I love to do DIY-home projects and read anything from fantasy and mystery to memoirs and books on mental health.
